We start with an audit. We identify what can run on wireless protocols (Crestron retrofit dimmers + DMF tunable downlights, Sonos for audio, Ruckus WiFi for backbone) and what genuinely needs new cabling. The result is a phased install that gives you 80% of a new-build system at 30% of the disruption.
For deeper retrofits — older homes with no structured wiring — we use the attic, the basement, and the crawlspace as our conduit. Cat6a runs along the existing service lines. Speakers go into the same boxes as the recessed cans. The rack room finds itself behind a closet door.
